Ian Collings’ Carved Walnut Side Table 02 rises from a low, rounded base like a trunk emerging from its root collar. The cylindrical upper form retains the walnut’s dark grain and natural divisions, while the swelling base gives the piece an unexpectedly soft, grounded presence. Its cast-pewter top evokes a pool discovered on the forest floor, glowing beneath the light of a full moon.
