Lindsey Adelman’s Illuminated Mobile Sconce II.03.01 is part of the artist’s Hieros Gamos series, drawing from the concept of sacred union: the joining of divine masculine and feminine energies, inner and outer worlds, and ancient and contemporary sensibilities. Composed of hand-blown glass elements adorned with delicate gold enamel markings, the composition balances illuminated spheres with a suspended pendant form.
