Nancy Callan’s Nipple Balls bring a cheeky charge to the exacting traditions of Venetian glassblowing. Across its translucent sphere raised circular forms repeat like polka dots transformed into anatomy. The near-perfect globes and precisely controlled patterns reveal the mastery Callan developed throughout her decades-long career, while their playful title pulls the work firmly into the present.
