Built from ceramic with a rough, hand-worked surface, Francesco Decio’s Square Bookend 1 combines a circular head, horizontal arms, and an arched base into a playful geometry that feels both symbolic and spontaneous. Its simplified silhouette recalls a drawn form made dimensional, balancing utility with Decio’s instinct for humor, material texture, and expressive abstraction.
